The Tahoe Trail Week Zone is intended to become more useful each year as participants return, practical knowledge accumulates, relationships continue, and new people become part of Tahoe’s annual convergence of races, stewardship work, gatherings, and trail-community activity.
What was useful this year? What should return next year? What should change, disappear, or be added? What should Tahoe Trail Week become over time?
Consider what would create lasting value for:
-
race directors and event organizers;
-
clubs and their members;
-
trail stewards and volunteers;
-
runners, crews, spectators, and visitors;
-
Tahoe-area communities and organizations;
-
people who want useful connections and conversations throughout the year.
Ideas may include annual traditions, better ways to coordinate during the gathering, year-round conversations, connections among events and organizations, appropriate sponsor and vendor boundaries, moderation needs, and ways to preserve useful knowledge without creating unnecessary noise.
Share observations from the 2026 Outpost pilot, ideas for next year, and thoughts about how this independent Outpost community can become more useful before, during, and after each annual gathering.
